I’m Valkyrie and I'm super excited that you have landed on my website! Like most book cover designers, my love for design began with my admiration for reading, and honestly, the rest is history. While I primarily enjoy connecting with readers and authors from the indie romance community, I'm happy to talk to everyone. Frankly, reading has saved my life more than anyone will ever know, and it has led me to believe that all engagement is valid and unique in some way.
As for a little bit about me—I am forever branded as emo/alternative, have eight different music playlists ranging from heavy metal, sweet country, viking chants, and more, and I drink far too much caffeine.
As for the Valkyrie thing? I grew up with my father telling me stories about my viking heritage, and honestly, it’s made me the fierce woman I am today. My friends have called me Valkyrie for years, I have a Valkyrie tattoo, and my dog’s name is Nordic. It’s safe to say the business had to match next.
